This project uses the Adafruit MagTag display to pull daily workouts from Concept 2’s website and display them on the builtin e-ink screen. The code for this project used Circuitpython and utilized web scraping. The different buttons are used to select the workout which leads to detail pages that include the description and all the button presses needed to setup the workout on the Concept 2 rower. This device was used because of its impressive power saving capabilities with an estimated time until recharge of one month.
